The capitol city if the state of Connecticut is Hartford. Hartford is renowned worldwide for two reasons. The first is that it was home to Mark Twain and visitors can go to the Mark Twain House and Museum to see where he lived while writing his classic books.
The second reason is the Stewards Museum of Oddities. Visitors will find some weird and wonderful displays here like the two headed cow. It is situated in Connecticut’s State House in the capitol city and the current display is a recreation of what was called in 1798 ‘Joseph Stewards’ Museum of Natural and Other Curiosities’.
The State House itself is also famous for being one of the oldest remaining State Houses in the United States of America.
